MetaClearX terms of use

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and GoHappy Studio, operated by Yunus Şamlı ("we"). If you downloaded MetaClearX from the App Store, it is licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and these terms add details specific to MetaClearX. If they conflict, Apple's agreement applies to the license itself. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

What MetaClearX does

MetaClearX shows metadata stored in photo and video files and saves copies with the metadata you select removed. File formats differ and other apps may add new data when you share a file, so we can't guarantee that every piece of hidden information is removed in every case. MetaClearX does not change the visible image and does not remove watermarks embedded in pixels.

Your responsibilities

• Only process files you own or have the right to use.
• Use MetaClearX in line with the law and the rules of the platforms where you share content.
• Some laws and platforms require AI-generated content to be disclosed. Removing a label doesn't remove that obligation, and you remain responsible for meeting it.
• Don't use MetaClearX to deceive, impersonate others or infringe anyone's rights.

MetaClearX Pro and purchases

MetaClearX Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes ads and unlocks Pro features on devices signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account within the same store. Prices are shown in your app store in your local currency. Payments, refunds and restores are handled by Apple or Google under their terms.

Ads

The free version shows ads, including optional rewarded ads that unlock a clean or Pro features for a single session. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. We're not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and only sent with your permission. You can turn them off at any time.

Third-party services

MetaClearX relies on services from Apple and Google. Their use is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Intellectual property

The MetaClearX app, name, logo and design belong to GoHappy Studio. You keep all rights to your own photos and videos.

Disclaimer

MetaClearX is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will remove all metadata from every file. Your original files are never modified, but we recommend keeping backups of important content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or reputation arising from the use of MetaClearX. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for MetaClearX Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the app. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app. You can stop using MetaClearX at any time by deleting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
